Apple Moldable Squishy

A see-through apple that stays squashed. The gel inside is cool, heavy and slow, and the translucent skin means you watch it move as well as feel it. Press a dent in and it stays there until you decide otherwise.

Watching the Gel Move

Opaque moldable toys hide the best part. This one is translucent, so as you press, the gel visibly displaces and settles — and because it never springs back, the shape you see is the shape it keeps. Under a desk lamp it is the most watchable fidget we stock.

Cool to Hold

Gel sits a few degrees below room temperature and stays there, which is a large part of why people keep reaching for it. Foam warms up in your hand within a minute; this does not.

Colours and the Clear Version

Five colours plus the clear option. Clear shows the movement best and marks fastest; the tinted versions hide fingerprints and still read as translucent under a lamp. All of them are the same gel underneath.

Care and When to Stop Using It

Do not bite, puncture, twist or overstretch the skin. The gel inside is sealed and non-toxic, but a torn skin cannot be repaired and the toy should be thrown away rather than patched. Keep it away from sharp objects, radiators and direct sunlight, and wipe it with a barely damp cloth rather than soaking it. If the surface ever turns greasy instead of dry, retire it.

Clear skins show every fingerprint — a quick wipe with a dry cloth keeps it looking new.
