Butter Stick Squishy
The stick of butter people keep trying to put in the fridge. Printed wrapper, folded paper creases, the right proportions — it reads as real from across a desk until somebody picks it up. Slow-rebound foam, so it flattens under your thumb and takes its time coming back.
Why the Butter Shape Beats a Ball
A long bar flattens differently along its length: push near an end and it bends, push in the middle and it compresses. The rise is flatter and slower than a round squishy because the foam has further to travel, which stretches the satisfying part of the squeeze out.
Nine Colourways and a Jumbo
Eight sticks at 11 to 14 cm in salted-butter yellow, pink, mint and pastel blue, plus a 24 cm jumbo that needs two hands. The small ones live in a pocket; the jumbo is a desk centrepiece and the one that gets the reaction.
Silent by Design
No beads, no clicking, no rattle. Slow-rebound foam makes no sound at all when squeezed or released, which is why this ends up being the fidget people actually use during video calls rather than the one that stays in a drawer.

Care and When to Stop Using It
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry fully before storing. Never soak it, never put it in a washing machine or dryer, and never apply heat — heat is the one thing slow-rise foam does not recover from. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from sharp edges, and squeeze it rather than stretching it. With normal use the rebound holds for six to twelve months.
Pale foam marks faster than dark — keep the yellow and white sticks off ink, newsprint and denim.
