Solid colours show you the outside compressing. A transparent one lets you see the whole body deform at once, which sounds like a small difference and is not. It is the closest thing in the range to watching the slow rise happen rather than just feeling it.

The Odd One on the Shelf

Every collection ends up looking similar once you have a row of pastels and glitters. The clear one breaks that up, and it changes appearance depending on the surface underneath. On dark wood it reads smoky, on white it almost disappears.

Care

Transparent finishes show dust and fingerprints more than opaque ones. Wipe with a barely damp cloth and air dry fully, and keep it off ink and denim. Away from heat and sunlight, six to twelve months of normal use before the rebound softens.
