Tofu Squishies

A tofu squishy is a pale, soft cube that wobbles when you poke it and rises slowly when you press it flat. Some are plain blocks; the popular ones have a minimal seal or cat face pressed into one side. At around two inches it is one of the smallest desk squishies we stock, and one of the quietest.

The Wobble Is the Point

Real tofu jiggles, and the good squishies copy that: a dense TPR or foam block that shivers when tapped, then compresses evenly and returns. There is no crunch, no stretch, no sound. It is the squishy for people who want something to press between two fingers while they read.

The seal-face editions are the ones that get bought as gifts; the plain blocks are the ones that stay on desks.

What to Look for in a Tofu Squishy

  • TPR or foam. TPR wobbles more; foam rises slower.
  • Face or plain. Face versions are cuter; plain ones are more office-safe.
  • Corner definition. Sharp cube corners read as tofu; rounded ones read as marshmallow.

Safety and Care

These are one-piece TPR (thermoplastic rubber) or slow-rise foam squishies with no loose filling. Non-toxic, BPA-free, wipe-clean. Ages 3+ with adult supervision for younger children.

Wipe with a barely damp cloth, air dry, keep away from heat and direct sunlight, and never stretch past the natural limit. The full routine is in our care guide.
