Jelly Cube Squishies

A jelly cube squishy is a translucent block of ultra-soft gel in a thin skin, and the closest thing in the squishy world to holding a cube of set jelly. Press it and it shifts and spreads slowly; release it and it settles back over a few seconds rather than snapping. Clear, pastel, glitter-flecked and layered editions all exist, and all of them are silent.

The Softest Squeeze in the Range

Slow-rise foam has structure; jelly cubes have almost none. That is the appeal. The gel moves under your fingers like something cold and edible, and because the cube is translucent you watch it deform. It sits between a maltose squishy (stretchier) and a vaseline squishy (holds its shape) on the texture scale.

Layered and glitter editions are the ones people film; single-colour cubes are the ones that stay on desks.

What to Look for in a Jelly Cube Squishy

  • Gel softness. Softer is more melty but marks the skin sooner.
  • Skin thickness. Thin skins feel best and tear soonest. Choose thicker for a bag.
  • Clarity. Clear cubes show every mark; tinted ones hide them.

Safety and Care

The filling is a thick petroleum-jelly-style gel sealed inside a TPR skin. It is designed to stay put, not to leak. Ages 3+ with adult supervision; keep it away from sharp edges, and if the skin ever tears, throw it out. We do not stock anything filled with water beads, which were recalled in the US in September 2026.

Wipe with a barely damp cloth, air dry, keep away from heat and direct sunlight, and never stretch past the natural limit. The full routine is in our care guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a jelly cube squishy?

A translucent cube of ultra-soft gel in a thin TPR skin. It spreads under pressure and settles back slowly without bouncing.

Does a jelly cube squishy bounce back?

Slowly, over a few seconds. It is not slow-rise foam and not fully moldable; it sits between the two.

Are jelly cube squishies safe?

Ages 3+ with supervision. The gel is sealed and non-toxic; no water beads. Retire the toy if the skin splits.
